Itinerary

1. Early Morning Pickup
Pickup from your hotel in Cancun or Riviera Maya.

2. Visit Chichen Itza
Explore one of the most famous Mayan cities:

3. Swim at Cenote Ik Kil

  • Buffet lunch and entrance into Cenote Ik Kil Buffet includes Tossed and Russian salads, rice and beans, grilled fish, chicken in an orange sauce, pork loin done in a classic Mayan sauce, beef tips, fettuccini primavera, fresh fruit, desserts and tea or coffee.
  • Entrance into Ek Balam ruins where you can climb the pyramid.

  • Certified guides inside the ruins.

It is a 2 ½ hour ride there. I suggest a 7AM departure (no later than 8AM) to arrive at Chichen Itza at 9:30AM before the crowds and heat. Stay there for 2-3 hrs. When you are done at Chichen Itza, your driver is waiting to take you to Cenote Ik Kil where you can swim in the fresh water and have a buffet lunch. Depart Ek Balam around 4:30PM and arrive into Cancun around 6:30PM. You can easily do this tour faster and return around 5:30PM if you like. You get the vehicle for the length of your tour. You can only use biodegradable products in cenotes. All sites of ruins close at 5PM. Plan your time accordingly.

Note that the certified guides inside the ruins are not included on this tour, and they are not part of the service that we provide. Therefore, we are not responsible and do not control the prices or exchange rate of the guide that you hire. Remember to agree on the price before hiring a guide.

Transportation:

Chichen Itza, Ik Kil and Ek Balam is recommended for hotels located north Playa del Carmen.(Cancun, Playa Mujeres, Bahía Petempich, Puerto Morelos, Puerto Juarez, Playa Paraiso)

Please note that If you are staying in Playa del Carmen, Puerto Aventuras, Akumal or Tulum hotels we need to add on a $100 USD surcharge per vehicle (not per person)

Chichen Itza, Ik Kil and Coba is recommended for hotels in Playa del Carmen and south (Puerto Aventuras, Akumal, Tulum), for that go to: Chichen Itza, Ik Kil and Coba.
