Ek Balam tours often include a short visit to Valladolid, offering a mix of history and local culture in one trip.

Itinerary: It is a 2 ½ hour ride there. I suggest a 7AM departure (no later than 8AM) to arrive at Chichen Itza at 9:30AM before the crowds and heat. Stay there for 2-3 hrs When you are done at Chichen Itza, your driver is waiting to take you to Cenote Ik Kil where you can swim in the fresh water and have a buffet lunch Depart Ek Balam around 4:30PM and arrive into Cancun around 6:30PM. You can easily do this tour faster and return around 5:30PM if you like. You get the vehicle for the length of your tour. You can only use biodegradable products in cenotes All sites of ruins close at 5PM. Plan your time accordingly
